Karen Atkins

Karen Atkins is a seasoned professional in quality assurance with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as Sr. Director of DP QA Operations at Sarepta Therapeutics since May 2019, Karen has held various leadership roles, including Associate Director of Quality Assurance Operations and Director of DP QA Operations. Prior experience includes the position of Associate Director of Quality Assurance at LSNE Contract Manufacturing and several roles at Pfizer, ranging from QA Specialist III to Compliance Coordinator. Karen began a career in the industry at Antigenics and has also worked as a Technical Trainer at Pfizer and as a Lead Process Technician at Collagenesis Inc. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Vermont College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, earned between 1995 and 1999.
