Scott Brown

Scott Brown has extensive work experience in various roles within the aerospace and defense industry. Scott is currently the Director of Strategic Sourcing at Sargent Aerospace & Defense. In the past, they have served as an Adjunct Faculty in Business Administration at Cerritos College, where they taught courses in Business Management, Supervision, Project Management, Global Logistics, Small Business Management, and Computer Applications for Business Managers.

Prior to that, Scott held multiple positions at RBC Bearings, including Plant Manager, Materials Manager, and Aerospace Manufacturing Manager. Scott has also worked as an Operations Manager at Swift-Cor Aerospace and a Plant Manager at Acument Global Technologies. Scott's experience in leadership and operations extends further with their role as Director of Operations at GKN Aerospace.

Before joining GKN Aerospace, Scott worked as a Production Manager/Energy Manager at ASTECH Engineered Products and as a Facilities Engineering Manager at ASTECH Manufacturing Inc. Scott 'scareer in manufacturing began as a Manufacturing Manager at Hexcel Corporation.

Scott Brown obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2004. Scott later pursued an MBA in Finance at the University of La Verne from 2006 to 2009. During their education, they also studied Management Information Systems, General at Northwood University but did not complete a degree in that field. Scott Brown holds additional certifications, including being a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) from the Association of Energy Engineers, which they obtained in December 2020, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Lockheed Martin.
