Pavan Powar

Pavan Powar has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Strategy at SariSuki, a hyperlocal eGrocery platform. Prior to this, they were also the Head of Strategy at StoryIQ, where they launched and owned the B2C business and led customer acquisition experiments. Pavan has also worked as a Divemaster Intern at Diveindia Scuba & Resorts, where they developed leadership skills in organizing and directing scuba diving activities. Pavan also served as the Head of Growth at Uploan PH, where they defined key metrics and set up the Client Launch Program. Earlier in their career, Pavan worked as a Business Consultant at El Jardin de Manila and as the Head of Supply Excellence at OYO Philippines. Pavan also held the role of Head of Projects and New Initiatives at Zefo, where they achieved significant business growth and launched new stores. Pavan has prior experience at Flipkart, where they led major Sale Events and tracked various projects as the Manager of Growth and Sale Events and the Manager of the Office of CBO. Pavan started their career at Decathlon Sports India as a Department Manager and a Production Leader in the Supply Chain.

Pavan Powar completed their high school education at Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School from 1996 to 2009, with a focus on the science field. They then pursued a Bachelor of Fashion Technology in Apparel Production from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai, from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Pavan Powar has obtained several certifications. They recently acquired the Emergency First Response Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor, Divemaster (DM), and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications from PADI in 2021 and 2022. They also completed certifications such as Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid), Rescue Diver, Data Storytelling for Business from StoryIQ in 2020, and the PMP Certification Training Course from Simplilearn in 2019. Furthermore, Pavan Powar obtained the Open Water Diver certification from PADI in 2019.
