Shauna Carr

Economic Development Officer at Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership

Shauna Carr is an experienced economic development professional currently serving as the Economic Development Officer for the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership since January 2019, with a focus on the Petro Chemical and Bio Hybrid Chemistry Cluster. Prior to this role, Carr was the Executive Director of the Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board from April 2014 to January 2019 and previously worked as the first Policy Analyst for the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2014. In this capacity, Carr successfully moved initiatives through government processes and organized a significant advocacy trip to Queen’s Park. Additional experience includes roles as a Researcher with the Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board from 2009 to 2011, Project Coordinator/Administrator for Tourism Sarnia-Lambton from 2008 to 2009, and Executive Assistant to the Minister of Culture at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 2000 to 2008. Shauna Carr holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English Literature from McMaster University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
