Amy Besio

Amy Besio is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Project Manager at Saronic Technologies since June 2025, Amy has previously held multiple roles at ABL Space Systems, including Director of Launch and Test, Launch and Test Manager, and Lead Launch and Test Engineer from June 2021 to August 2024. Prior experience includes a position as a Propulsion Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation, where Amy led significant design and analysis projects for high-pressure gas and LH2/LOX feed systems. Amy’s expertise also encompasses fluid systems design, demonstrated during a tenure as a Fluid System Engineer at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, contributing to NASA’s Space Launch System. Amy began a career in aerospace as a Hypergol Design Engineer at Sierra Lobo, Inc. after earning a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Central Florida in May 2015.
