Alex Richards

Alex Richards is an experienced electrical and maintenance engineer with a diverse background in the industry. Currently serving as a Maintenance Engineer at SAS International since September 2022, Alex previously held positions as an Electrical Maintenance Specialist at LIBERTY STEEL NEWPORT and as an Electrician at both HARLECH INDUSTRIAL DOORS LIMITED and as a self-employed professional. Alex's career began at Tata Steel, progressing from an Electrical Apprentice to a Shift Electrical Technician over several years. Alex holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Wales and has obtained various certifications, including the 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and NEBOSH in Occupational Safety and Health in construction.
