Leon Krynauw

Leon Krynauw has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies. Leon currently works at Sasfin Wealth as the Head of Product Development & Special Projects since May 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Product Development from November 2019 to May 2021 and as a Product Development Manager from September 2017 to October 2019. Before joining Sasfin Wealth, they were the Middle Office Manager at the company from August 2016 to August 2017. In this position, they oversaw system development, maintained key business processes, and generated management information for senior management. Leon also had the role of Product Development Specialist at Sasfin Wealth, assisting in new product development and coordinating implementation. Leon served in this capacity from March 2016 to July 2016. Prior to joining Sasfin Wealth, Leon was self-employed as an IT Consultant from July 2009 to March 2015. Leon also worked at Barnard Jacobs Mellett as an Offshore Administrator from November 2008 to April 2009. In this role, they managed offshore accounts, conducted trades, and audited accounts. Before that, Leon was a Network Administrator at Finsettle Services (Pty) Ltd from an unspecified start date to 2008. In this position, they handled network and database administration, as well as middle office, international settlement, and Forex trading.

Leon Krynauw obtained a Matric degree from Afrikaans Hoër Seuns Skool from 1999 to 2001. Leon then attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2002 to 2004, where they studied Informatics. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Leon pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Financial Management at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Leon further specialized in Financial Management and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)(Honours) degree from the same institution from 2012 to 2013.
