Sharlene Correia

Sharlene Correia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sharlene began their career in 2002 as a Teacher at Mulbarton Primary School and worked there until 2005. Sharlene then transitioned to the role of New Business Development at Marios Meat Wholesalers from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they worked as an Imports Manager at Wire Products Stainless Steel from 2007 to 2013.

In 2013, Sharlene joined Rand Trust Financiers as an SME Business Manager Advisor and stayed with the company until 2017. Sharlene then moved on to Transaction Capital Business Solutions as a Cash Flow Specialist, Key Account Manager, and later as a Business Finance Specialist from 2013 to 2020. During this time, they gained expertise in cash flow financing and provided tailor-made financial solutions to support business growth.

In 2020, Sharlene joined Merchant West as a Portfolio Manager, where they contributed to the company's working capital solutions. Currently, they are working as an Account Executive at Sasfin since 2021. In 2017, they attended Damelin again, this time focusing on Booking to Trial Balance. Finally, they studied Fundamentals of Business Finance at Stellenbosch University from an unspecified start year until 2020.
