Deidre Donaldson Meyer

Deidre Donaldson Meyer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Deidre currently holds the position of VP, CTO at Saskatchewan Government Insurance, where they started in September 2021. Previously, they worked as a Consultant at Solvera Solutions from April 2021 to September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Sessional Instructor at the University of Regina's Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business from January 2021 to April 2021.

Deidre has also held significant roles at Vivvo, where they served as the CEO from November 2019 to February 2021. During their tenure, they developed and executed a corporate strategy to expand Vivvo's presence in the digital transformation arena, ultimately leading to the company's sale to Converge Technology Partners. As the CEO, they were accountable for all aspects of the business, including growth, marketing, research & development, solution delivery, financial performance, human resources, and customer retention.

Earlier in their career, Deidre worked at SaskEnergy, where they held various roles, including Executive Director and Director of Business Development for Bayhurst Gas & Business Development. In these positions, they led portfolio transition and divestiture activities, optimized and led unregulated business operations, and developed new business endeavors.

Deidre also has experience in sales and channel management at Nortel. Deidre served as a Corporate Sales Director for Saskatchewan and Manitoba and as a Channel Account Manager for various regions and product focus areas.

Additionally, Deidre pursued an Executive MBA at the University of Regina from 2009 to 2011, with an international component in China. Deidre'scapstone project focused on customer-oriented culture and change management.
