Rod Petrinchuk

Rod Petrinchuk is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of IT at the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority since April 2024. Prior to this role, Rod held the position of Manager of Infrastructure Services at SLGA from January 2011 to April 2024, overseeing a team of 20 members across various technical operations. Rod's background includes significant experience as a Senior Analyst at CGI and EDS, where expertise in architectural design and knowledge of various systems and technologies, such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware, were developed. Rod began a career in IT as a Systems Analyst at Agriculture Canada, managing IT responsibilities for the southern region of Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is a Treasury Board Crown Corporation responsible for the distribution, control and regulation of beverage alcohol in Saskatchewan. SLGA also operates and regulates many forms of gaming in the province including electronic gaming, charitable gaming and horse racing and also registers all provincial gaming employees and gaming suppliers.
