A. Paul Labbe

A. Paul Labbe serves as the Mining Research Chair at Saskatchewan Polytechnic within the MEM & Mechanical Engineering Faculty since 2018. Previously held significant leadership roles, including Principal and Director of Business Development, Program & Project Management at Stantec, and Vice President positions at Co-op Refinery and WorleyParsons Resources Canada, overseeing extensive mining and engineering projects with substantial capital expenditures. A. Paul Labbe has a diverse professional background in mining and project management, with earlier experience as VP of Mining and CEO roles at various organizations from 1994 to 2010. A. Paul Labbe holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Engineering Management from Pacific Western University, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from SIAST. Educational credentials were also complemented by foundational studies at the University of Saskatchewan and Holy Cross High School in Saskatoon.
