Deepak Anand

Deepak Anand, PEng, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of Transmission Line Assets at SaskPower, a position held since September 2017, where leadership of the Transmission Lines Engineering group involves overseeing engineering, design, and procurement for various projects. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Project Manager at Amec Foster Wheeler, focusing on quality management for materials supplied to SaskPower, and Senior Project Manager at AltaLink, where project management of the Goose Lake to Etzikom Coulee Transmission Project was executed. Additionally, at BC Hydro, Deepak Anand contributed significantly to major projects, including feasibility analyses for the North East Transmission Line and the completion of the Microwave Radio Replacement Project. Early career roles included software verification at Nortel Networks and telecommunications engineering at Standard Chartered Bank. Deepak Anand holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and completed the Integrated Leadership Development Program at The Segal Graduate School of Business, Simon Fraser University.
