Dennis Sharma

Dennis Sharma is a highly experienced Senior Engineer specializing in Substation Electrical Design, Protection, and Control at SaskPower since January 2010. Responsibilities include supporting substation construction and upgrades, project management, engineering, and construction supervision of various voltage substations and switching stations. Dennis has coordinated multiple major capital projects, managed project scopes, schedules, costs, and risks, and has been involved in significant technical studies and equipment procurement. Previous roles include Senior Electrical Engineer and Transmission Line Design Engineer, as well as military experience as a Signals Officer with the Canadian Forces. Dennis holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Systems and multiple post-graduate certificates in Solar and Wind Energy from Penn State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
