Jon Schmidt

Jon Schmidt is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Distribution Engineering - New Connects South at SaskPower since March 2007. Prior roles at SaskPower include Manager of Engineering Services for Transmission Services, Substation Design Engineer, and SCADA Engineer. Previously, Jon Schmidt worked as an Electronics Project Engineer at CNH, focusing on control system design and programming along with user interface development for implemented controllers. Jon Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Regina, earned between 2000 and 2005.
