M.D. Shafiqul Alam

MD Shafiqul Alam is a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) currently employed at SaskPower since November 2022, focusing on Power Production and Plant Engineering Services. Prior experience includes a role as a Service Tech at Arjo, where responsibilities involved maintenance support and planning preventive maintenance from July 2022 to November 2022, and a Graduate Research Assistantship at the University of Regina from January 2020 to April 2022. Shafiqul has also completed an internship as a Mechanical Engineer (Student) at SaskPower in the summer of 2021. Previous positions encompass Assistant Engineer at US-Bangla Airlines Ltd. from July 2015 to September 2019, Lecturer in the Aeronautical Engineering Department at MIST in early 2015, and a Trainee Engineer at US-Bangla Airlines Ltd. in early 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from MIST.
