Lucinda Wood, FAusImm has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Lucinda currently serves as the Director of Business Development at the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) since 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Mining Industry Consultant and Director of Mining Unit at COINTEC S. from 2012 to 2018. Lucinda also held the position of Environmental Management Director at the National Mining Secretary from 2016 to 2017.

Lucinda has demonstrated their expertise in the mining industry through various roles they held earlier in their career. Lucinda served as the Mining Department Head at Taging S.A. from 2009 to 2012 and as a Senior Process Engineer at SAXUM Engineered Solutions from 2008 to 2009. Before that, they worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Techint from 2007 to 2008 and as a Project Engineer at Cerro Vanguardia from 2005 to 2007.

Lucinda also has experience in project management and development, having worked as a Project Manager at TEBA Development from 2002 to 2004 and at TEBA Limited from 2001 to 2002. Lucinda started their career at AngloGold Ashanti in 1999, where they held the positions of Executive Assistant and Junior Metallurgical Engineer.

Throughout their career, Lucinda has showcased their expertise in mineral processing, commercial project research, and engineering services. Lucinda has also demonstrated leadership skills and a strong understanding of environmental management in the mining industry.

Lucinda Wood, FAusImm, pursued their education by starting at the University of Cape Town from 1995 to 1998. During this time, they acquired a BSc. Eng. (Chem) degree with a focus on Chemical Engineering. After a short break, they resumed their education from 2000 to 2010 at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Here, they obtained a BA degree with a concentration in Sociology and Economics.
