Ian Flegel

Ian Flegel is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior OSS Design & Implementation Engineer at SaskTel since 2011, Flegel focuses on the design and implementation of advanced technologies for the company's telecommunications network. Previous roles include significant positions at SaskPower, where responsibilities encompassed designing large-scale control networks and managing engineering projects in communications systems. Flegel has also contributed to organizational governance as Chairman of the Discipline Committee for APEGS and as a Board Member for the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Flegel holds a Master of Project Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Regina.
