Cornell Stanciu

Cornell Stanciu currently serves as the Manager of Oilfield and Industrial Solutions in R&D at Sasol North America, a position held since April 2015, following roles as Technical Lead and Senior Research Chemist. Previous experience includes a tenure as Senior Scientist-Chemistry at Halliburton and Intrexon Corporation, where Cornell worked on molecular ligand switches and introduced innovative synthesis approaches. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, complemented by postdoctoral fellowships at Merck and the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on High Throughput Experimentation (HTE) and catalysis. Additionally, experience at Purdue University involved research in olefin polymerization and mentoring graduate students.
