Madder Steyn has extensive experience in the coal mining industry, currently serving as General Manager of Sasol Mining's Thubelisha Colliery since 2014, overseeing operations with a focus on safety and production targets. Previously, Madder held the position of General Manager for Bosjesspruit Colliery and has progressed through various engineering roles, including Colliery Integration Manager and Senior Manager of Engineering, leading projects related to mechanical design and optimization. Madder's career began with vacation work at Sasol, followed by a diverse educational background in mechanical engineering, including a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a GCC in Mechanical (Mines & Works). Additionally, experience includes roles in education and youth organization, demonstrating a commitment to knowledge sharing and community development.
