Mamohau Julia Maleka has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Mamohau Julia started their career in 2002 as an Internship Trainee at BHP. In 2004, they joined Sasol and took on several operations roles until 2010 when they became a Production Area Manager. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Specialist in Process Safety at Sasol. Mamohau Julia then progressed to the role of Senior Manager of Process Safety at Secunda Operations from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Mamohau holds the position of Vice President of Safety Health & Environment for Sasolburg & Ekandustria Operations, where they are responsible for multiple sub-functions related to safety, health, environment, and risk management.

Mamohau Julia Maleka completed the Management Acceleration Programme (MAP) at INSEAD in 2017. Prior to that, Maleka participated in the Manage managers development program at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) in 2012.
