Randir Ragoobeer

Randir Ragoobeer is an experienced senior risk management professional currently serving as the Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Combined Assurance at Sasol since March 2012. In this role, Randir oversees the comprehensive identification, integration, assessment, and mitigation of risks impacting the company's business objectives. Previously, Randir held positions as Head of Risk for Sasol's Energy Business and Operations, Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management, and Vice President of Risk for various business functions within Sasol, where expertise in enterprise risk management and leadership of diverse risk teams were demonstrated. Randir's career began at Umgeni Water, progressing through roles including Risk Management Coordinator and Risk Finance Manager, leading to significant contributions in risk management at organizations such as Rand Water. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from GIBS Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
