Josh Wheeler

Senior Director, Entry Into Service & Client Services at Satcom Direct

Josh Wheeler has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Josh began their career as a Systems Administrator at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, where they were responsible for all IT activities and provided support to end-users. Josh then moved on to Harris Corporation, where they served as a Senior Systems Administrator and Project Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In this role, they managed a custom VPN solution and led new hardware and software enhancements for the VPN service.

Afterwards, Josh joined Satcom Direct, starting as the Manager of Training Operations. Josh administered technical training on the company's services and products and served as the primary training spokesperson for customers in North and South America. Josh then progressed to become the Director of Entry into Service - Technical Sales, where they provided operational support and training to customers subscribed to Satcom Direct's services. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Director of Entry into Service & Client Services, where they managed the Entry into Service team and the Client Service team. In addition, they were responsible for all customer-facing cybersecurity products and services.

Josh Wheeler attended Satellite High School from 1995 to 1998. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. Josh attended Florida State University from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, Josh has obtained several certifications including Security+ in January 2017, AeroIT in February 2015, and Certified Technical Trainer CTT+ in July 2014. Josh also gained the Network+ certification in January 2014.
