Alan Kroeger

Alan Kroeger serves as the Director of Nature & Climate at Satelligence, where the focus is on utilizing satellite technology to address deforestation and comply with emerging nature-related regulations. Previously, Kroeger was a Manager at Deloitte, enhancing ESG services centered on nature-positive strategies. As a Natural Climate Solutions Fellow at Conservation International, Kroeger promoted the benefits of natural climate solutions. Earlier roles include Head of Supply Chains & Natural Climate Solutions at Satelligence and Director of Sustainability and Climate Initiatives at Enviva, where efforts were directed towards climate targets and stakeholder engagement. Kroeger's extensive background in forest policy began with positions at Climate Focus and IUCN, advising on climate change and land-use policies, and was complemented by consulting for organizations such as the Environmental Defense Fund and the Department of the Interior. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Natural Resource Policy & Management from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Bard College.
