Cristi Ritschel Lcsw

Cristi Ritschel, LCSW has a diverse work experience in social work. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Human Options, Inc. where they served as a Therapist and Victim Advocate in the Safe Options for Seniors program. Cristi provided clinical services to victims of domestic violence and elder abuse, including crisis intervention, therapy, assessments, and advocacy. Cristi also presented training sessions to community members and professionals. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Program Supervisor at Human Options, Inc., overseeing daily operations of programs for victims of domestic violence and elder abuse.

Since 2014, Cristi has been working at Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA), initially as the Director of Resident Services. In this role, they managed a team and operated programs serving the community. Cristi applied theoretical frameworks in service coordination and led various aspects of program delivery. As of 2020, they hold the position of Vice President of Resident Services at SAHA. In this capacity, they develop and executes the program's strategic vision, manages a large budget, and oversees a cross-functional team supporting low-income families, seniors, and vulnerable populations. Cristi has also led culture change initiatives within the organization to foster a cohesive and high-performing team.

Cristi Ritschel, LCSW obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General from UC San Diego from 2001 to 2003. Cristi further pursued their education at California State University, Long Beach, where they completed their Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree specializing in Older Adults and Families from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Cristi Ritschel obtained additional certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Board Of Behavioral Sciences in March 2012.
