Stacey Gearin

Stacey Gearin has a diverse range of work experience in the biotechnology and research fields. Stacey is currently working as a Laboratory Manager at Satellite Bio since November 2021. Prior to this, Stacey worked at Relay Therapeutics from March 2019 to November 2021, where they served as the Operations Manager. In this role, they oversaw and optimized daily lab operations and led a project to convert office space into lab space. Stacey also has experience working at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as part of the Scientific Operations team from January 2017 to 2019. Their responsibilities in this role included facilitating communication and relationships between scientists, directors, and project managers, as well as assisting in the development of companywide strategies. Stacey began their career as a Scientist I at Novartis in May 2010 until 2017. Stacey also worked as a Research Associate at Shire HGT from September 2009 to April 2010 and as a Research Associate at UC Berkeley from 2007 to 2009. Stacey started their career as a Scientist I at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics from 2002 to 2004.

Stacey Gearin obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from SUNY Brockport, completing their studies in the years 1998 to 2002. Stacey continued their education at the same institution and received a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from SUNY Brockport, which they completed from 2004 to 2007.
