Alan Kharsansky

Alan Kharsansky has extensive experience in the engineering field. Alan currently holds the position of VP of Mission Engineering and Operations at Satellogic, a role they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Satellogic in various roles, including Head of Systems Engineering from December 2017 to August 2019, Lead Systems Engineer from October 2012 to December 2017, and Electronic Engineer from October 2011 to November 2012.

Alan also has experience in education, having served as an Embedded Systems Teacher at Facultad de Ingeniería - UBA from August 2010 to December 2012, and as a Teacher at Escuela Técnica ORT from March 2006 to January 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Hardware, Software, and Firmware designer at Robotgroup from February 2010 to July 2012, and as Responsible for Information Technology and R&D at Wisermobile from March 2008 to June 2011.

Alan Kharsansky also worked as a Network Designer at DQS-UL ARGENTINA from April 2009 to August 2009.

Alan Kharsansky received their M.S. in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires in 2013, specializing in control theory, embedded systems, and UAV's.
