Executive Sales Director at China Renaissance

Chris Galati has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chris started their career at Jardine Fleming / Robert Fleming in 1992 as an Analyst/Sales, where they worked until 1999. During this time, they wrote equity research on electronics, autos, and home appliances companies in Taiwan and China. Chris also developed the Taiwan equities franchise in the US.

In 1999, they joined Credit Suisse as a VP, Asian Equity Sales, and worked there until 2002. Chris then moved to Nomura, where they held various positions from 2003 to 2016. Chris started as an Asian Equity Sales and later became an Executive Director.

In 2016, Chris joined China Renaissance (华兴资本) as an Executive Sales Director, where they are currently employed. The end date for this role is not provided, indicating that they are still working at the company.

Chris Galati began their education at Collegiate School, although it is unclear when they attended. They then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University from 1984 to 1988. Following this, Chris pursued a Master of Arts degree in Political Economy of East Asia from National Taiwan University, completing the program from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, Chris has obtained a certification in Series 7/63, although the institution and date of completion are unknown. Furthermore, Chris has taken part in the NY Writers Workshop to further develop their skills in Creative Writing.
