Nicolò Sala

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the hardware development of DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior roles include serving as a firmware engineer at the same company, where Chris developed essential firmware and diagnostic tools, and as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on the design and repair of educational devices. Chris's career began at Grindcom, developing control systems for forestry equipment, and included a role as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting various engineering courses. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
