Himanshu Joshi

Himanshu Joshi is the Founder and CEO of Seven Oceans, with a diverse background in shipping that includes experience as a captain on large oil tankers and as a shipping economist in London. Prior to founding Seven Oceans in September 2010, Himanshu engaged in commercial shipping management at OMI in Stamford, CT, and transitioned into technology in shipping during the dot-com era. Since September 2019, Himanshu has served as an Advisor for Shipping & Logistics at Phlo Systems Ltd., focusing on leveraging emerging technologies to transform commodity trade, finance, and management. Himanshu holds a Masters in Economics from London Business School, a Masters in International Trade & Transport from London Metropolitan University, and a Nautical Science qualification from Indian Maritime University, along with a High School Diploma from St. Joseph's Academy and membership in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
