Rashid Shaik

Rashid Shaik has extensive work experience in the field of project management and systems engineering. Rashid worked as a Project Manager at KDG CC from 2018, overseeing various projects in that role. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction from 2016, where they specialized in IT infrastructure and airport security systems. Rashid also worked as an IT Project Manager at AECOM from 2014, where they were responsible for negotiating design scopes and providing upgrade recommendations for IT infrastructure. Before that, they were a Systems Engineer at Infraconsult LLC from 2010, where they supervised the design and construction of the Honolulu Automated Light Rail System.

In addition, Rashid served as a Sr Traction Electrification-Traction Power & OCS at Sound Transit Seattle from 2018 to 2021. Rashid was responsible for overseeing contracts, reviewing submittals, and handling RFIs for various projects. Rashid also has experience as a Systems Engineer/Interface Manager at Taiwan High Speed Rail from 1999 to 2006, where they managed interfaces between different subsystems and provided design solutions. Lastly, they worked as a Systems Engineer/Fire Life Safety Engineer at PB from 1990 to 1999, where they were responsible for traction power and catenary system documentation and administrating the field office.
