Leilya Shamel is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Satva Trust, a London-based B2B ClimateTech and FinTech company focused on decarbonisation through blockchain and AI/ML technologies, primarily serving the banking and insurance industries. With extensive experience in business development and sales at DDCAP Group™, Leilya managed senior executive relationships across Europe, Turkey, Lebanon, Central Asia, and Saudi Arabia, specializing in the Islamic Finance market. Previous roles include serving as an Economics/Energy Advisor at the British Embassy, providing economic policy reporting and project management, and working as a GR Expert for the UNDP Kazakhstan on wind energy development and renewable energy projects. Leilya's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Economics and Trade from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Finance and another in Foreign Languages.
