Laurent Vulliet

Laurent Vulliet is an esteemed academic and consulting professional with extensive experience in the fields of engineering and management. Currently serving as an Honorary Professor at EPFL since March 1994 and as a Full Professor, Vulliet has held significant leadership roles, including Dean of the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering. Vulliet is the Chairman of the Board at De Cérenville Géotechnique SA and President of the Advisory Board West at Implenia. Additional roles include expert positions on the Cantonal Safety Expert Group and the Federal Geological Commission, as well as membership in the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences. Vulliet has also contributed to various foundations and councils related to engineering and research, alongside an independent consulting venture. Education includes a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from ETH Zürich and a Ph.D. from EPFL, along with advanced management training at INSEAD.
