Stefan Frei

Stefan Frei currently serves as the Senior Information Security Officer at SIX Digital Exchange, where responsibilities include enabling teams to scale through effective Security-by-Design initiatives. In addition, Stefan is a member of the Board of Advisors for Bug Bounty Switzerland and SATW, providing strategic guidance and support for security programs and threat communication. As a lecturer at ETH Zurich, Stefan teaches courses on Cyber Security for Decision Makers and Networking Security, having previously engaged in big-data research as a doctoral student. Previous roles include leading the Supply Chain Security Working Group at ICTswitzerland, working as a Senior Cyber Security Principal at Accenture, and serving on the Advisory Council for Catastrophes at Zurich Insurance. Stefan's educational background encompasses a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Security, a Master's in Management, Technology & Economics, and a Master's in Electrical Engineering, all from ETH Zurich, alongside studies at École nationale supérieure des télécommunications in Paris.
