Enrique Aguinaga

Enrique Aguinaga is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in suspension design and chassis engineering. At Sauber Group, from September 2018 to July 2024, Enrique progressed from Suspension Design Engineer to Team Leader, overseeing the suspension design team. Prior experience includes a role as Design Engineer at Toyota Motorsport GmbH, where responsibilities involved the design of structural parts and material development using additive manufacturing. Earlier roles encompassed positions as an intern in the Chassis Design Office and a mechanic at ISATMOT, as well as contributing to motorcycle chassis and suspension design at Coyotes Moto Racing UNIFEI. Enrique holds a degree in Mechanical and Transport Engineering from the Institute of Automotive and Transports Engineering and has a Master’s Degree in Motorsports from Monlau Competition Technical School.
