Markus Ketonen

Markus Ketonen has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the automotive sector. Since September 2018, Markus has worked at Sauber Group as both a Suspension Design Engineer and Aero Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Engineer for Tommi Mäkinen Racing from November 2015 to August 2018, focusing on the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC Project. Earlier positions include work as a Design Engineer and Junior Design Engineer at Comatec Group, and involvement with Formula Student Hungary as a Design Judge. Markus served as the Chief Event Organizer for the Baltic Open, leading an international competition for Formula SAE & Formula Student teams. Prior to these roles, experience included mechanical work at Boom Bike Oy and leadership positions at Metropolia Motorsport, along with consultancy in mathematics and physics at Rastor Oy. Markus holds a Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and a Baccalaureate in Information Technology and Media from Kupittaa College.
