Benjamin Karran

Benjamin Karran is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading development teams and implementing engineering best practices. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer for R&D at Sauce Labs since February 2022, Benjamin has previously held roles such as Backend Lead Developer at Deutsche Bahn, where Benjamin led a team and developed backend services for real-time train information. As a co-founder and CTO of Feram GmbH, Benjamin built systems for static code analysis. Additional experience includes positions in software engineering, research, and user interface design across multiple companies. Benjamin holds multiple degrees from the Hasso Plattner Institute, including a Master's degree in IT Systems Engineering.
