Abdulaziz Abanmi

Abdulaziz Abanmi serves as the Deputy Governor for Payments at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and previously held multiple executive roles at Saudi Payments, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President of Technology. Prior experience includes positions at SABB as Head of IT Development, Head of IT Quality and Governance, and Senior Manager of Development Services, along with an early career as a Computer Engineer at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA). Abdulaziz has completed the Saudi Digital Academy Executive Program in Digital Leadership at INSEAD in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Software Engineering at Prince Sultan University.
