Alaa Shabib

Alaa Shabib is a seasoned digital marketing professional with extensive experience in leading digital strategies and campaigns across various sectors. Currently serving as the Digital Marketing Lead for PIF Projects at the Public Investment Fund since February 2023, Alaa previously held the position of Senior Manager of Digital Marketing at Meraas from October 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing local and international digital campaigns with a focus on lead generation. Prior to this, Alaa was the Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Emaar, leading the digital marketing team and successfully launching over 60 property projects from 2014 to 2018. Earlier roles included Digital Account Manager at Wunderman, managing key digital advertising activities for clients in the Mobile and FMCG sectors, and Communications and Media Relations Manager at Promax PR-Middle East. Alaa's career began at Yahoo! Inc. as a Digital Communications Executive and Project Manager. Educationally, Alaa holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies with a Minor in Business Marketing from the American University of Sharjah.
