James Reeve

James Reeve is a highly experienced economist currently serving as a Senior Director at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) since March 2024. Prior to this role, James held the position of Chief Economist at Jadwa Investment from November 2022 to March 2024 and served as Chief Economist Advisor at the Ministry of Investment from March 2021 to November 2022. James's extensive background includes over a decade at Samba Financial Group, where roles included Chief Economist, Deputy Chief Economist, and Senior Economist. Additional experience comprises a Senior Economist position at the Institute of International Finance from 2005 to 2008 and a similar role at The Economist Intelligence Unit from 1998 to 2005. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Middle East Politics (Political Economy) from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Modern History from The University of Manchester.
