Omar Jahidi

Omar JAHIDI is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of M&A MENA Investment Advisory at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) since September 2021, Omar also holds board positions at YANBU CEMENT COMPANY and Red Sea Gateway Terminal International since July 2023, and at Lifera from April to October 2024. Prior to these roles, Omar was a Director in Investment Banking Advisory at HSBC from June 2010 to September 2021, and Associate Director in Mergers & Acquisitions at Invest AD from May 2009 to June 2010. Earlier experience includes positions at Rothschild & Co and Moody's. Omar holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from emlyon business school and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Al Akhawayn University, complemented by an Associate degree in Computer Science from St. Petersburg College.
