Abdulatif Saleh al-Shami

Abdulatif Saleh Al-Shami is an accomplished professional with over thirty years of experience in the oil, gas, and refining sectors. Currently serving as Vice Chairman and a Member of the Board of Directors at Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef since April 2021, Abdulatif has previously held various leadership roles at Saudi Aramco, including Manager of Yanbu Refinery and Manager of the Yanbu NGL Gas Plant Department. Leadership expertise includes strategic development, project management, and oversight of safety and environmental standards as a board member of SAMREF Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complemented by certifications in Process Improvement and Six Sigma.
