Mohammed Alghamdi

Mohammed Alghamdi has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily with Saudi Aramco and its subsidiaries. Mohammed currently holds the position of VP Engineering & Technical Services at Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP), starting in April 2021. Prior to this role, Mohammed served as the Manager of the Yanbu NGL Fractionation (YNGLF) Plant at Aramco from an unknown start date to April 2021. In this role, they successfully led and motivated a large team of over 700 staff and played a significant role in making the plant a top-performer in the industry. Additionally, Mohammed also served as the Manager of the Chemicals Business at Aramco, where they focused on developing new chemical projects and played a key role in launching a multi-billion dollar project of crude-to-oil-to-chemicals. Before joining Aramco, Mohammed worked at Sadara Chemical Company as a Senior Project Manager, leading the Aromatics Project. In this role, they provided strategic direction to a team of over 1,200 employees and effectively managed project risks and issues. Mohammed Alghamdi earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in 1992. Mohammed recently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix in 2020.
