Dr. Omar Alansari

Dr. Omar Alansari currently serves as the Acting Head of Board Secretariat and Manager of the Legal Department at صندوق الشهداء والمصابين والأسرى والمفقودين since March 2024. Concurrently, Dr. Alansari is a member of the Copyright Violations Committee and Head of IP Alternative Dispute Resolution at SAIP - Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, roles held since September 2022. Previously, Dr. Alansari worked at Saudi Electronic University from December 2014 to October 2022 in various capacities, including Legal Advisor to the University President, Dean of Human Resources, and Assistant Professor of Law. Dr. Alansari also briefly served as a Financial Policy Specialist at the Saudi Central Bank – SAMA in late 2014. Dr. Alansari holds a PhD in Law from Queen's University Belfast, an LLM in International Law from American University Washington College of Law, and a Bachelor's degree in Shari'a from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
