Dr. Asa Abdullah Alghamdi

Dr. Asa Abdullah Alghamdi is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in sports medicine and emergency response, currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine & Business Development at the Saudi Automobile & Motorcycle Federation since January 2022. Alghamdi also holds key roles as Deputy Chief Medical Officer for prestigious racing events, including Formula 1, Formula E, and Extreme E, while being the founder of Saudi Athlete, which implements a holistic system for athlete performance. Additional positions include Co-Founder of FAZAA Global Company for Communication and IT, Vice President of the Security Committee at Saudi Arabian GP, and a pivotal role in managing health and safety for major motorsport events. Alghamdi's extensive background in emergency medicine includes leadership positions at the Ministry of Health and Al-Ahli Saudi FC, where a comprehensive approach to athlete care was established. Alghamdi is a graduate of Batterjee Medical College with an MBBS degree.
