Qasim Afridi

Qasim Afridi is a seasoned infrastructure and data center engineer with over 15 years of experience in the IT field. Currently serving as a Senior Team Lead Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer at Saudi Electricity Company since February 2018, Qasim is responsible for managing Dell VxRail Manager cloud infrastructure at both the main and disaster recovery sites, including patching and updating ESXi hosts, vCenter, and VxRail Manager Server. Prior to this role, Qasim held positions as a Senior System Engineer at Mobily, specializing in managed services for hosted datacenters, and as a System Professional at Emircom, focusing on managing hosted messaging and collaboration platforms. Early career experience includes software development at Buraq Integrated Solutions. Qasim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Kohat University of Science & Technology, obtained in 2006.
