Michael Elmir

Michael Elmir has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Michael is currently serving as the Executive Director of Safety Quality & Risk at SGS - Saudi Ground Services. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Safety & Quality at the same company. Before joining SGS, Michael worked at Emirates Group as the Head of Safety for five years. Michael also worked at dnata Airport Services, where they served as the Head of HSEQ and later as the Head of Safety. In addition, they have held managerial positions at Qantas, Cobham Aviation Australia, and Regional Express. Michael has a strong background in safety management, risk assessment, and environmental compliance.

Michael Elmir obtained their Masters of Science and Technology in Aviation Management from UNSW, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Warrawong High School from 1985 to 1990.
