Mahmoud El Sayed

Mahmoud El Sayed is a highly experienced professional in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and operations management. Currently serving as the Data GIS & Operations Director and GIS Consultant at SPL|سبل since April 2022, Mahmoud has previously held significant positions at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) from September 2019 to April 2022, focusing on Vulnerability Management and GIS consultancy. Prior to that, Mahmoud spent over 13 years at Esri North Africa, where roles included GIS Team Manager, GIS Configuration Manager, GIS Business Consultant, Senior System Analyst, and Technical Support Engineer, along with serving as a Senior Esri Certified Instructor. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University, earned between 1999 and 2005.
