Vasco Martins

Vasco Martins is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Head of Investments and M&A and Partnerships Advisor to the HE President at SPL|سبل since May 2022. Previously, Vasco held the position of Head of M&A at Durius Capital from April 2019 to February 2022, where responsibilities included deal origination, structuring, and execution. Additionally, Vasco acted as the Chief Investment Officer at LIBEEN Smart Housing for a brief period in 2021, overseeing financial planning and investor relations. Early career experiences include M&A roles at Credit Suisse, focusing on Spain and Portugal, and an analyst position in the Energy Team at Espirito Santo Investment Bank. Vasco holds a BSc. in Management and an International MSc. in Finance from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, as well as a BSc. in Management from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and a degree in International MSc. in Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
