Abdulaziz Alwatban is a Remote Sensing Specialist at the Saudi Space Agency since November 2023, bringing diverse experience in aerospace and research. Prior to this role, Abdulaziz participated in NASA's Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience program in 2022, where a machine learning solution for soil assessment was developed. As a Student Research Assistant at the Geomathematics, Remote Sensing, and Cryospheric Sciences Laboratory, numerical modeling of glacier dynamics was conducted. An Aerospace Summer Internship at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology involved designing and building a quadcopter drone. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with another Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
