Kamal Alharbi

Kamal Alharbi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of space technology and communications. Currently serving as the Chief Space Technology and Applications Officer at the Saudi Space Agency since April 2021, Kamal has also held the roles of Acting Chief Operations and Space Program Officer and General Director of Operation. Prior to this, Kamal managed a multi-billion dollar communications program at the Ministry of National Guard, delivering advanced network solutions in collaboration with the UK’s Ministry of Defense. With a background that includes positions as Project Manager and Design Engineer within the same ministry, Kamal's expertise spans project direction, vendor coordination, and system design. Academic credentials include an Executive Program from Stanford University, a Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard Business School, and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
